General information senior members (18+)

On this page you will find information about senior hockey and the waiting list. AMVJ hockey has more than 30 senior teams. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].

General information

Every member is senior from 18 years (reference date 1 October). The games are played on Sundays. At AMVJ we have senior teams in different competitions:

  • Standard senior competition (from 18 years)
  • Young men/women competition (from 18 to 25 years)
  • Veterans competition (from 35 years)
  • Trimhockey

When placing players/players in various teams, age and level are taken into account.

Duties as a member

It is customary for every AMVJ member to contribute to club life individually or as a team, in addition to training and playing the matches. In concrete terms, this means, among other things: taking turns playing a match table service and field service, and obtaining the referee's diploma (mandatory) to whistle other matches.

Register as an individual

Do you want to come and play hockey at AMVJ? Then register via the registration form on the website. This will automatically put you on the waiting list. As long as you are on the waiting list, your registration is not yet final and you do not have to pay a contribution. You will be notified as soon as you can be placed in a team. You must confirm this message and from that moment on your membership is final.

Re-register

Have you been a member before? Then you do not need to fill out the form again, but you can simply have your membership reactivated. To do this, send an email to the senior membership secretariat. Please include your current address details, so that the membership secretariat can update this if necessary.

Register with a whole team

Register with several players at the same time, or even with an entire team? Please contact [email protected] separately.

When you register with an entire team, you do not pay registration fee and you receive a AMVJ shirt for free!

Waiting list?

From may onwards, you will find a newsmessage on our website with information about teams who are looking for new members.

If you are interested in a team, please email a short text about yourself and your hockey experience (place in the field, age, etc.) to [email protected] so that the team can assess whether there might be a good match. The captain will then contact you to get acquainted.

Trimhockey

The trimhockey members train once a week (Monday 21.00-22.30) and do not play competition in the weekend, but sometimes play matches against other trimhockey teams. Most of the Trimhockey players are parents of junior members, but everyone is welcome, with or without (hockey-playing) children, from beginner to experienced player. More info: [email protected].
